AM I PARANOID OR JUST SELFISH!!

With changing times, decade after decade my motherland has seen warriors who fought bravely for my country, freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the welfare of the society, social workers who dedicated their whole life span for the good of the citizen of India. Today I live with the time which is witnessing a society which is selfish, egoist & jealous. Irony is that we are still listed amongst developing countries. Huh! What is called developing? Is it increasing the level of hatred or is it increasing level of nuisance in the society or increasing level of jealousy?

Competition is directly proportional to population. However this can be cured not by controlling population (as religion and plenty of other factors control it) but by opening new venues and opportunities for these people. Education is directly proportional to mental intellect. Ill rate of education can be improved not by reservation but by providing better counseling to aspirants.

Decision makers (sometimes politicians and most of the times its us) are lacking sense of urgency and important. We are in a quadrant where urgency and importance are high. In other words we are in a fire fighting mode. Incumbents of higher echelons, seems so much diplomatic that they lack propensity to take steps to cure the menace. Mumbai suffers from water logging which brings to city to halt. Still the authorities or the state Govt. has not yet planned or taken a single step to curb the artificial “road-lakes”.

When I drive through Delhi (might that be a bike or car) I feel so consumed that even I’m not able to enjoy the music on the radio or the jokes or the naughty chats. All I’m worried about is, will the drivers in my vicinity would have pity on me and leave my vehicle scratch free. Alas! I’ve got two Delhi-vehicle-tattoos (dents) on front bumper (on right & left corner of my car) within 2weeks since I bought my car. Everyone seems to be in hurry though they only save 5-10min. while they drive like crazy. Its not about professional cab drivers or truck or bus drivers but even educated youth and sometimes elderly driving their posh Honda City or equivalent drives as if they have decided to hit someone rather everyone while they are on the wheels.

What is leading to all this? Everyone seems so self consumed that while on the ride called life they never bother to crush others who come in way. They never pull brakes or take a twist if someone comes in their path rather they just ‘hit & run’. Life in India has become a ‘hit & run’ case which ends nothing more than 2yrs imprisonment which too is awarded IF FOUND GUILTY. And believe you me, I CAN NEVER BE GUILTY even if I kill as I can readily put the blame on others. The “It was not my fault’ attitude has overwhelming incumbents and their percentage is as high as 96% of total population.

I’m really selfish that I want my country to be peaceful and I’m really paranoid to think alike. I feel helpless that I’m ill to not to help my motherland which nurtured every skill everything for me and for all. Solution is only a miracle. No matter how many awareness camps we organize, people would participate for free t-shirts or some cold-drinks. Even the situation is so rampant that 3 out of 10 organizers would also be amongst the crowd to enjoy the free gifts.

Weeping throughout as I wrote above lines it has been very expensive, as I’ve lost the most precious gems that too for the ‘Idiots of India’. I beg you my dear god, give some higher level of intellect to my fellow countrymen so as to bring relief to my haunted soul.
